This typewriter artist turns keystrokes into poetic NFTs. How? Degen Poet clicks and clacks on a mechanical typewriter to create images out of text. After scanning them, DP enhances them with watercolor, marker, animation, and other techniques. The result? A unique art style that combines technology of the past and present, minted on Solana.

In one short year, John Lê went from anon to NFT don. Through hand-drawn comic art and stunning 1:1s, he’s become one of the top independent artists on Solana and helped establish its art scene. But that’s not the only reason why he’s beloved. He also supports emerging artists and advocates for NFTs in DC. For all these contributions, Lê has built an avid fan base and stellar reputation.
